Yesterday, the Capricorn 01 Zagato celebrated its world premiere. The exclusive hypercar is the result of a collaboration between the German Engineering company Capricorn and the traditional Italian design house Zagato.
The result is a vehicle that uncompromisingly relies on analogue driving pleasure – and thus represents a conscious counter-design to the digital overload of modern super sports cars.
Limitation, price and exclusivity
Only 19 Capricorn 01 Zagatos will be built. The starting price is around €2,95 million plus taxes.
The exclusive distribution partner is the Louyet Group, with offices in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg, which markets the hypercar specifically to select collectors and VIP clients.

Technical highlights of the Capricorn 01 Zagato

◉ Transmission: handcrafted five-speed dogleg manual transmission from Cima, puristic and analogue.
◉ Chassis: full carbon fiber construction with LMP1 racing car DNA, dry weight under 1.200 kilograms.
◉ Performance: 0 to 100 km/h in under 3,0 seconds, top speed over 359 km/h.
◉ Chassis: modern pushrod dampers from Bilstein, combinable with deactivatable electric power steering for maximum steering feel.
◉ Aerodynamics: elegant design without massive spoilers, instead clever solutions such as diffuser and Zagato’s iconic “Double Bubble” roofline.

Analogue cockpit instead of digital overload
The interior completely dispenses with digital displays and driver assistants. Instead, Zagato relies on real instruments, the finest Connolly leather, and elements made of carbon, titanium, and aluminum.
The focus is clearly on driving culture and craftsmanship – a Collectible for enthusiasts who appreciate the puristic character of a manual transmission.
Design: Timeless elegance by Zagato
With the Capricorn 01 Zagato, the Italian design studio presents its first real hypercar.
Its dramatic lines, references to historic sports cars, and the famous double-bulkhead roof are characteristic features. This makes the model a target for collectors and car enthusiasts seeking a unique piece with an iconic design.

A hypercar for purists
The Capricorn 01 Zagato is not just a super sports car – it is a rarity for lovers of analogue driving experiences.
Limited to 19 units, it combines German engineering, Italian design and a clear stance against digital overstimulation in automobile construction.
