Retro is not only popular in fashion, but also in accessories such as WatchesThe timepieces of Circula Watches – a label that has existed since the 1950s – aim to serve the desire for simplicity and offline phases.

The design and appearance of the watch are a tribute to 1955, when Heinz Huber founded the brand in Pforzheim. Today, his grandson Cornelius Huber is in charge, having raised the start-up capital for the relaunch of the brand via the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.

The movement of these attractive pieces comes from Ronda in Switzerland and is housed in a stainless steel case made of surgical steel. The strong curvature of the glass requires the use of a particularly shatter-proof K1 mineral glass.

The bracelets are made of Italian nappa leather and stainless steel. Circula Watches are available in various color combinations starting at 199 euros.

Cornelius Huber told “Shots” today: “Circula Watches is also about making vintage affordable. Because the current demand for vintage watches, just like for classic cars, has driven prices to unprecedented heights.”

He continued: "In addition, not everyone is able to reliably assess the condition of a used vintage watch. The new Circula Watches combine design from that time with modern dial colors and first-class workmanship at affordable prices."
