A great loss for Silva González and his family: Their beloved boxer dog Thrudi passed away at the end of January 2025 in Hamburg.
The loyal companion, born on April 16, 2016, was an integral part of their lives for almost nine years and brought much joy and love to the family.
Despite intensive veterinary efforts, the incurable tumor from which Thrudi suffered could not be defeated.
"Thrudi lay down in the evening - and the next morning she simply didn't wake up," the singer said in deep sadness. "We tried everything, but in the end we had to let her go."
Thrudi, who originally came from a breeder in Thuringia, was much more than just a pet - she was a loyal companion through all the ups and downs. Her loss leaves a noticeable gap in the family's everyday life.
Numerous friends, fans and companions have already expressed their condolences. "Thrudi was such a sweet dog, I feel so sorry for Silva and his family," wrote a close friend on social media.
Silva Gonzalez thanks everyone for the many loving words and tries to reflect on the beautiful moments they shared together. "She gave us so much love - and we are grateful for that."
